Stainless Steel Angle is used to make frames, brackets and for general engineering and manufacturing fabrications. It is a good material choice as it does not rust or stain due to the interaction of alloying elements, such as molybdenum, nickel, and chromium, with the environment; without these alloying elements, the iron in the steel would be prone to cause oxidisation, rust, and staining.
It is available in two grades, 304 and 316.The 304 grade is the general commercial grade, easy to machine and form, very good for welding and good corrosion resistance.
The 316 grade has better corrosion resistance and is recommended for marine or coastal applications.
